Eliza's Blessing

Eliza Mary Kline
Eliza was the first baby to be blessed in the new Atherton Ward. Our stake got reorganized the week after she was born and our new ward was born. We were so happy to have so many friends and family come to support our little baby. She was so good during the blessing. She started off awake, but fell asleep in her daddy's arms during it. Jon did a great job - I'm so lucky to have him as my husband and the father of my children. After sacrament we went back to our house for a little luncheon and get together. We had a lot of friends from the old USC gang there. It seems like we only ever see each other for football games, blessings and baptisms anymore. We're going to have to remedy that - although football season starts up again and we'll be seeing each other every week for months at that point. :-) All the kids (and they completely outnumber us now) played together wonderfully and we loved having a chance to hang out with friends and family. Luckily the marine layer took a while to burn off and it wasn't too hot to be outside. Thank you to everyone who took the time to drive in and go to the blessing.

Jon and I with Eliza

Maybe someday we'll get a picture of the family with Jeremy looking at the camera (but not today)

His mom, sister, her husband & son.

I'll add more pictures of Eliza in her beautiful gown, but this is what I've got for now from my camera.
